Glycerin suppositories

I had awful constipation last week and really suffered. I used glycerin suppositories for two days and got some relief and thought that was that. But this eeek I’ve only been passing small bits unless I use a glycerin suppository - then I can go. Each time I use a suppository I go so I think I was really blocked up. What I do pass is hard and in lumps. How much longer will I need to use the suppositories for? I’ve increased my water intake dramatically and also eaten better. I have piles and they hurt to keep passing hard poo!!

Thanks - when should I use it? Now? With the glycerin suppositories still, or instead of? I know what’s caused it I think - I went on a crash diet and only ate two meals a day - a Load of veg and not enough water. Lesson learned!
