Adominal Fibroid removal and Sub Hysterectomy

Hello I am in my 7th week of my major op to remove very large fibriods from my tummy and had a sub hysterectomy at the same time.
Has anyone had this and if so how long does it take for your stomach to look normal and also I can still see the outline of the fibriods . I had them for around 4yrs and some friends say that my body had to accomadate them so it is natural they made a shape, but does this go and you stomach returns to normal?. My stomach is still bloated but its the shape that really concerns me. I know they have gone but still see where they were for so long! Any info on this would be so great!
