Right sided abdo cramps and vomiting without nausea

I’ve always had mild ibs.

Recently I’ve had the odd day where I’ve had a morning shower then had cramping type pains in right abdomen, spit in mouth then vomit clear, water tasting fluid. No nausea. Had petechaie on face afterwards with the force of it all. After a short while it’s gone and I go to work. It’s fairly infrequent, maybe every couple of months. Sometimes I can breathe through it and it wears off before the vomiting.

Any thoughts? I’m not jaundiced, no abdo swelling.

Sounds like a hiatus hernia/acid reflux

Thanks but I don’t get obvious indigestion. It’s like a weird sudden thing, then it wears off quickly and I’m fine again.

My father has it and that's exactly how it is for him. Hope it gets better though.
