Someone help me please

I'm 4 weeks postpartum and had intercourse last Monday. My bleeding had stopped and was just having yellow mucous and discharge but now I have this sort of blood. It looks pink to me. Is it normal to bleed pink after birth or is this implantation?

Did you use any contraception ? I think it's unlikely (but not impossible) to be implantation bleeding. More likely that your cervix is still a bit delicate and is bleeding a little, and the blood is mixed with the mucus to give this pink flow. Did it just start today or have you been having it for several days? I found my postpartum bleeding used to start up again if I overdid things.

@theconstantinoplegardener no we didn't use anything and it started yesterday and stopped and now it's back again today. I'm really freaking out now

Well, you should really use contraception every time you have sex unless you want another baby. Are you breastfeeding? Breastfeeding has some natural contraceptive effect for the first few months. Probably the best thing to do is make an appointment to see your GP or Practice Nurse if the pink staining continues. They will be able to advise you on suitable forms of contraception, check for any obvious cause of bleeding (such as a polyp or cervical inflammation) and possibly check to see if you're pregnant or not, although at this stage you might get misleading results since you gave birth so recently.
