I have a history of acid reflux but it hasn’t really bothered me recently and in the past was checked out by specialist and no serious issues identified. I am mid 40s and in very good health.
But since this morning I have suddenly had really had acid reflux. I feel it was triggered this morning when I swallowed a tablet without any water and it felt like it got lodged in my throat. I then had this really sharp burning pain in my throat and while it has got better, it’s still there and it feels like I have something stick in my throat and acid reflux. I expect it’s just a minor inflammation of my esophagus triggered by the tablet or some Chinese food I had last night. But a part of me is imagining cancer!!!
Please reassure me!!
