Does this sound like the start of sinusitis? Weird sensation in my ear.

My ear felt really blocked yesterday. It's been making sort of clicking / popping noises when I talk and eat. It's kind of like the sensation when you get water in your ears but "thicker".

I thought it might be a wax build up but this morning I've woken up with pain in the cheek on the same side of my face, a sore throat and a bit of a headache.

I'm attending a wedding as a bridesmaid tomorrow... does this sound like it might be the start of sinusitis?!

Yes, it sounds similar to how mine starts. Could you get some meds and try and nip it in the bud? I get sinusitis quite a lot and sometimes it's bad and sometimes just a bit of a niggle so hopefully it won't ruin the day for you.

I use sinutab and a saline nasal spray (I often get a sore nostril with it). The neilmed sinus rinse has good press but I've never been brave enough to do it! Sudafed nasal spray has also worked for me in the past.
