For about 2 weeks now, I have felt absolutly knackered and I cannot seem to shake it off.

I don't work, haven't been doing anymore than normal really, apart from perhaps end of term kids stuff, and I eat ok and get enough sleep, roughly 8 hours a night, so why do I feel so shattered ??

I look run down too I think, skin is dry and so is hair.

Are you PG? I felt lkie this for a while and finally realised I was PG with surprise number 3. A bit of a shock at the time but love my little DD2 to pieces.

Get your thyroid checked, nutty.

Underactive thyroid can cause tiredness, as well as dry skin and hair.

I'd get some blood tests done then!

Do you have any other symptoms? Things like:

feeling the cold easily
coarse, thinning hair and eyebrows and brittle nails
sore muscles, slow movements and weakness
depression and problems with memory and concentration
unexplained weight gain
constipation
problems with periods
