Buying holiday insurance with no firm diagnosis

I have recently had bloods/BP monitoring /ECG as Ive moved and the new Drs are fantastically proactive.
However, the bloods showed I'm anaemic and the ECG suggests 'possible' Left Bundle Branch Block. I've been referred to a cardiologist and have an appointment in February.
The thing is I'm going away on holiday to USA and the Dr said to go and have a fab time!
However I'm trying to sort holiday insurance and it seems really difficult as I have been referred but don't have a firm diagnosis.
Can anyone suggest what I say on The application as I obviously want to cover every eventuality and be 100% honest.
Many thanks x

You would have to say exactly what you told us here. Being totally honest would be the only way to make sure you are covered.

You need to speak to someone as there’s no way you’ll get standard cover. Try Mia and be completely truthful. You might find they won’t cover if you’re under investigation with no diagnosis though (sorry).

I really struggled to get insurance when I went the states earlier in the year as I was undergoing tests on my gallbladder polyps so no one would insure me.

Id reccomend post office platinum. Only one that would take me. Was pricey though. But a reassurance.

I had this problem this year and unfortunately with a cardiologist appointment outstanding, you will find it really difficult to find insurance for USA. I called up so many places and everywhere refused to even quote until I was seen and diagnosed/cleared.

You can probably get cover with the outstanding diagnosis excluded but that’s not a good plan. Try specialist companies like clear to go, Mia insurance etc. If Mia cover its a flat fee (I’ve had cancer, I only ever use them as no one else will touch me.).

You MUST get cover or not go -sorry. It is too big a risk otherwise. You could find yourself liable for thousands in emergency care costs. Sorry to be the harbinger of doom. Saga may also insure you - they did my uncle who has an implantable cardiac defib.

Of course I will get cover. That's obviously not an option.
