I've just found out that a close family friend has breast cancer

She is my friends mum & good friends of my parents. I have known her since the age of around 4 & they are such a lovely family. They came over to stay with my parents just a few weeks back & I met up with them for lunch, then a week later I heard that she had to have a biopsy because of a breast lump. Today they got the results back that she has breast cancer & is to have a to have a total masectomy.

I just feel so sad for all of them.

The surgery are phoning her on Monday to see when they can get her in for the operation. The whole family are devastated, they were trying to keep so positive about this lump.
