Evolve HA Intensive Eye Drops - is there a side effect of breathlessness?

DH has been prescribed these drops for dry eye, but he thinks they are making him breathless.

He has been made breathless by eye drops before, a few years ago, (not these drops though). He did tell the dr at the hospital, who said that he'd probably be all right with these ones then.

These drops don't really have any info re side effects, except they're rare, but that's no help when you want to find out if what you're actually experiencing is a side effect (or might be) or not. I have googled but cannot find a list of actual side effects, just that they are rare whatever they are.

(Background: dh has a fast growing cataract in that eye, and another starting in the other eye, which is why he was at the hospital eye a&e. He'd been referred for cataract surgery so they were checking him out a couple of weeks ago and used some other drops during examination [standard] but his eyes still felt gummy even a couple of weeks after. He rang the department and was told to go to eye a&e, which is when he was prescribed these drops for dry eye.)

The active ingredient in the drops is fairly common, its usually very well tolerated and side effects tend to be limited to local allergic reactions and transient blurred vision.

If your husband is having breathlessness, you should ring 111.
