Hi everyone,
I just have a quick question. I'm supposed to donate blood for the first time on Monday and unfortunately my husband won't be able to stay with the kids (he was supposed to).
Does anyone know if I can take them with me? I tried to search online but most topics come from USA where it is fine.
My boys are 11, 8 and nearly 2. The older ones are very good and they will help with the little one.
Thanks

Donation centres seem to vary. I took my 4 year old once and she was allowed to sit on a chair next to me while I donated but I know of others who have been told that's not allowed.
I think if the older two will be able to entertain the little one in a pushchair in the waiting area you'll be fine. Might be worth ringing beforehand though.

If anyone else was wondering - Yes, you can bring your children to the blood donation. The people there are wonderful.
Mind you, it all depends on your kids - mine were great, but there were 4 year old twins who gave their mum a really hard time...
