Are they cured by diet

Whilst waiting for surgery, my friend went on a very low fat diet. This eliminated the episodes of awful pain that she suffered before diagnosis.
I'm not sure that gallstones disappear though.
Do you think this could be the cause of your pain?

I had costocondritis which presented as pain beneath my left ribs.

See your GP about gallstones, they are not likely to go away with diet. Sorry you are in pain.

Might even be a gallbladder infection rather than gallstones which won’t resolve without antibiotics. I’ve had both. I’ve also given birth twice completely pain relief free, and I can honestly say I’d rather do so again than have to pass a gallstone. So good luck OP, hopefully it’s just indigestion.

Gastritis - inflammation of stomach lining.

Stuff like Gaviscon can help, or your GP can prescribe protein pump inhibitors which reduce your stomach acid so it can heal

Get well soon
