period for 3 months

I had my first daughter in January, and I am still breastfeeding. I started my first menstrual cycle post birth on the 2nd of July 2017 and I am still bleeding now. I have been to the doctors who started me on the mini pill at on the 3rd of September but my bleeding has not stopped if anything it is heavier. My question is should I go back to the doctors or is this something I should just 'put up with' until I stop breastfeeding (I don't want to stop until my baby is ready).

I would return to the doctors. Something is causing this and it warrants proper investigation rather than just being given pills.

Go back to the drs.
I had similar and it turned out to be a uterus infection. Weeks of AntiBs needed to avoid a D&C.
