Period feeling crappy

Anyone else feel just totally under the weather when their period starts? I feel irritable, low level dull aching head, achy all over, sore throat etc etc. I'm going out tonight any advice to try and perk myself up even just a bit? Please?

Yep. Everything hurts. Just lucky im off today but not looking forward to work tomorrow.

I find it's usually the day before and then the first day - feel so sluggish and achy all down my legs how on earth do I get myself out tonight

Yeah it's horrible. My period arrived at the weekend and I've felt crappy all week. It's always the same. I feel sluggish, fat and bloated.

Yes i feel like that the day before too. Also that im not digesting my food properly but ive never heard anyone else have that.
