LOUD nose blowing

Hi,
So my 12 yrs DD sounds like an elephant/trumpet when she blows her nose!! It really is LOUD!! We have obviously grown used to it and she attended a very small primary school and they got used to it. She has year round rhinitis which we are tackling. Hayfever has kicked in and she has managed to avoid blowing her now in class at secondary school until this week and she is very self-conscious about the noise. Anyone know of any tactics that might work to make the noise quieter? My question in a nutshell is, Is it possible to blow your nose quietly??

I would just let her be loud and so be it. Honestly what a non problem!
