Have my fourth throat infection! It's awful, like the back of my throat is actual pounded raw meat, I can even taste blood 🙁🙁

After yet another week of waking up to a nose full of toxic waste and the lung capacity of a small sparrow, I am at my wits end!

Anyone else on the count down until it's finally over...

OP I hadn't heard of this but I have been ill on and off, more on, for circa 72 days now..... since about the week before Christmas. Major symptoms have been a cough and very sore throat but aching joints, an on and off temperature and general coldy symptoms have been part of it too.

Do you have any reputable links about this OP?

Yep me! Had it last year as well. My work colleague has also got it and she had it at the same time as me last year.

It's like catching one cold after another after another for months. I've also go an ear infection and nose bleeds with it this time. It's awful!

I've found my people. I've had a cough since Dec 1st along side painful sinus headaches.

Is this a thing?

Oh wow is this real??? I was going to give in and phone the doctor tomorrow! Weeks of sneezing, coughing and masses of bloody mucous! Carry a loo roll with me everywhere, sick to death of feeling choked up and snotty. Also wheezy so sucking on inhalers when normally I only need one puff per day. Is this an actual thing?

Well according to my GP and a couple of work colleagues GPS it's a thing.

Found a newstatesman link but it when on about the whooping cough, the only other media was the mirror and DM.

oh the nose bleeds electric every morning whilst I drain my head of toxic waste..

I would see a doctor demented if you have asthma!

I know a few people who got pneumonia in January too... it's been a strange year.

I had full blown flu a couple of weeks ago too, huge fever with hallucinations and everything! Fed up of been ill now!
