Backache since pregnancy, ds one!

I have had backache since being about 5mths pg. Had difficulty sleeping, particularly towards the end of pg when I was much much heavier. Couldn't wait to have ds so that I could sleep for longer periods at a time.

Anyway, ds is now one year old and I am still having back issues throughout the night. It often wakes me up and the pain is mainly mid-lower back. It takes me about 20mins for mhy back to start feeling normal in the morning - then I don't really have much pain with it until the next night.

I have invested in a £500 mattress as everyone told me this was probably the cause - still the same I am also getting more and more migraines - I used to get maybe two or three a year, I have had two this month and they knoc me out for a couple of days.

Do you think it might be worth me seeing a chiropractor? Do you know what type of things the do and how much money I might be looking at? Having really got very far with my GP in the past.
