If you are sick after antibiotics should you take another?

I took one yesterday with food and was fine - I've had these antibiotics before. This morning I stupidly took one first thing in the morning before breakfast, I did drink a whole glass of water but no food. An hour later I was very sick (nothing since, am certain it was the antibiotic). So should I take another one (with food this time) or just wait for tomorrow's dose (one tablet per day)?

I would wait till tomorrow's dose.

I've had this before with one a day anti biotics. I took one at dinner time/as soon as I returned from gps then stupidly one at lunchtime the next day. Sick as a dog. Eugh.

Had to wait until the next day though as I didn't want to be a chunder bunny. Again.

Why was taking one at lunchtime stupid?! I need all tips possible to avoid the spew-nami that occurred this morning. Not pleasant at all.

For me it was stupid because I was only mean to have one a day and to take at the same time each day. And I didn't read the pack properly.

Only ever did that once though. I've always read the pack properly since then.

If they are hard on your stomach maybe take a good probiotic and multivitamin too.

The antibiotics I'm on, and pretty much any I've had recently, advise taking one hour before food or two hours after food. Check what the guidance is on yours.
