*Warning TMI pic included* what's this bleeding?

I have my periods like clockwork, I've had some cramps and bleeding quite heavy and passed something about the size of my palm.
My last period finished a week ago so not sure why I'm bleeding again already or what this pinky fleshy thing is?
Could it just be an early period? Have been quite stressed.
Sorry for the tmi pic, passed this then had small fleshy clots Blush

Hope I've not grossed you out.

Jeez, the pics on MN...Blush. OP, could it be a stray clot from yr last period? Or another period? Miscarriage maybe? I can see why you are worried. Hope you find out.

Based on previous threads of a similar nature I think that if you continue to bleed and are needing more than one pad an hour then you need urgent medical attention.

Otherwise call your GP first thing.

Sorry about the pic I'll ask MN to take down the thread

I can't make head nor tail of that pic OP. No need to ask MNHQ to take it down though, it isn't offensive, I just can't work out what it's supposed to be?

You've made it PERFECTLY clear there is a tmi picture in your thread title, why posters then click on and moan about it is beyond me!

OP maybe a clot from last period? I'd keep an eye and if you continue to bleed see the GP.

I'm not going through a pad an hour, every other maybe, I thought maybe an early miscarriage but I haven't tested.
Sorry for the pic again, didn't know where to ask and it freaked me out 😳

Give 111 a call OP. Tell them you're passing clots and getting through a pad in 2 hours and how long it's been since your last period. See what they say for who to see. Or call the GP surgery now on the off chance they have some appointments left today.

I'm not offended by the photo at all. I can't quite make out what I am looking at though.

Could it be a decidual cast?

Forgot to say 111 doesn't operate in my part of Wales.

111 doesn't exist in Wales but you can still call NHS direct on 0845 46 47 for advice.

An early miscarriage would be a likely explanation. Maybe watch and wait for now?

Report
Rockingaround · 26/01/2017 01:08

Yes maybe an early miscarriage but I doubt it seeing as though you had a period a weeks ago. If you have a fever or feel unwell I'd call or go to a&e. If not I'd make an emergency app with the GP in the morning. Hope you're ok x

I've an appt tomorrow so will see. Getting a lot of cramps so going to rest and see how it goes.

I wouldn't wait until tmrw OP, call the GP back and say you need an emergency appointment, especially if you've had more clotting? X

Thank you rocking & Molly, and thank you all for the advice on here.
Sounds silly but I'm glad I didn't know beforehand that I was pregnant or I'd have taken in worse IYSWIM.
Blessed with 2 DS so could be worse, still shit though.
WineCake tonight for me!
