Has anyone got any advice for coping with PMT?
I literally live in fear of it. For two weeks before each period I get bloating, IBS symptoms, left shoulder pain, irritable, can't cope with being busy, breast pain, greasy hair, dull skin etc. It literally makes my life miserable for two weeks. I'm also scared that I will have a huge fight with someone as I feel so irritable. Sometimes I even get really clumsy.
Does anyone else suffer like this?
I exercise every day and am a healthy weight. I don't drink (maybe I should!) or smoke.
Any advice on how to get through it?

Are you on the pill?

Mine was so bad for years, all your symptoms and more - and horribly heavy periods - that I was eventually referred to a specialist and had a full hysterectomy. That was over a year ago and although I'm on HRT now which can make me feel a bit weird sometimes, I'm so pleased I had the operation. I am a different person.

Go to a doctor, and if they don't take you seriously go and see a different one. You are already doing regular exercise and it doesn't seem to be working. What about diet? Cut out sugar. Are you low on iron? Take magnesium and Angus castus. My sister takes St John's Wort.

Good luck.
