This is serious folks - I went to the shop to buy nappies this evening and also bought a bag of Cadbury's Caramel Nibbles. They didn't make it home I'm afraid Blush

C'mon, kick my arse into gear! What do I need to do? How can I be motivated to do it?

what has worked for me is just never to buy crap. :)
Not minimising, but as a family we don't 'do' sweets, crisps, biscuits, fizzy drinks or snacky type foods.
I'm not being holier than thou but the honest truth is I can't remember the last time I bought sweets.

Might it help to do a meal plan? Focus on good quality wholesome foods- eggs or porridge for breakfast, healthy salads or whatever for lunch, main meal of the day with loads of veg etc?

If you work on the basis that the adult 'recommended' amount of sugar is no more than 6 teaspoons a day (around 30 grams) , that might give you are yardstick to cut out the crap.

Yea, I am not good at leaving it in the cupboard - better on the shop shelf! Though when I try not to buy crap I then get the munchies and hunt the house for something, anything to eat! Have been known to raid the cooking chocolate on one desperate occasion... Blush
