I am usually a fit 29 year old but the past six weeks I have had chronic stomach and pelvic pain I was losing very large clots. After going to the hospital back and forth they diagnosed me with chlamydia and PID I also have a copper coil.
I was put on a drip of antibiotics and a two weeks course of anitibiotics I have been on these ten days now.
I'm still left with constant flank pain in my tummy and back and it's hurting my back when I urinate.
Now the middle of tummy has developed a pain when I bend cough or walk or basically feels like soemthing is in my stomach at all times and I feel extremely full when I eat.
I'm in pain all the time and everyone is sick of hearing it so I just carry on as normal I keep going to the doctors they keep doing urine samples and all that is showing is a small amount of blood in my urine.
I'm so tired of this now I'm hoping to get my copper coil removed today as now I have thrush too and gynaecologist told me the bugs can stay on the coil which my doctor totally denies.
I have three children and they think I may have had this infection for two years and I only had one sexual partner in this time so I obviously caught it from him it's ruining my life. I want them to do a scan on me because of the pain I am in constantly but they won't I'm so scared everyday I wake up thinking please let the pain be gone but it never is :-(
Can anyone relate what should I do

Ok...for starters Oviarian cancer is pretty rare in your age group, does happen of course but is unusual.
You need a gynaecology appointment and I agree a scan is needed.
I would get an appointment with another doctor at your surgery, have you got anyone who could go with you, then they can also say how anxious and worried you are.

Well they didn't really do much just said it's the pelvic inflammorty disease and to take pain killers I can put my hand on where the pain is originating in my tummy but I feel like I'm just being fobbed off all the time .
They just said to finish my tablets and see how I am next week.
I asked them to remove the coil and once again was refused the removal of the coil and I told the doctor what the gyno said about the bugs living on the coil and he laughed and said that isn't true but this was an experience gyno from the hospital and I'm sure she knows more than him about these things .
I think having that removed would ease some of my symptoms

The people I know who ended up with PID due to untreated chlamydia ended up in hospital because of the pain. The infection goes to war on your reproductive organs. Give the abs a chance to do their job and keep on top of the painkillers. It will clear up.

Hi gamer
Thanks that is reassuring to hear how are any of them now do you know as I can't discuss this in real life with anyone because I'm ashamed of having an STD but I don't sleep around and had no idea

I've had that sti myself, its the silent raveger of your reproductive system. I caught it early because I go for a check up every couple of years. It isn't really anything to do with sleeping about though so don't beat yourself up.

Do they check for this when your pregnant or before the coil going in I wonder how long I've truly had it , it's scary

I don't know, I don't think so.

Have you been for a full screen at the clinic just to check there's nothing else?

At the hospital they checked for HIV hepatitis and syphilis.
Goner must of came back negative as it didn't show on the swab so I think I've had it all done now.
