Spotting from vagina and blood in my stools

Hello,

Bit of background, the past 4 months since I have experienced sever pain mid cycle which I put down to pain during ovulation time as it's always mid-cycle.

Periods are always to the day and normal.

The pain has sometimes been so bad I can only describe it as like labour pains where I cannot move from the spot.

So this morning (i'm mid-cycle) I had the cramping again which makes me breathless and have to move slowly. I had a pain that I can only describe as being in my bottom that if I tense (like the motion you have when pushing out a baby) the pain goes to my abdominal.

I thought I would try and sit on the toilet to make sure I had no trapped wind causing me the pain but it wasn't. I managed to pass a stool with a little diarrhea and the stool had blood in it. When I wiped the blood was bright red.

I don't have piles or anything like that which could have caused the blood.

During the day I started getting dark brown spotting from my vagina too, I've never had spotting outside my period before.

This evening the lower abdominal pain got worse again to the point it was painful to walk. I went to the toilet and the same thing happened again only this time the blood was darker in colour.

Now I have cramping.

What on earth is going on? I am going to see my GP.

You need to get checked. I'm not sure if it could be a burst ovarian cyst.

Turns out it was an ectopic pregnancy. I didn't even know I was pregnant.
