I've been having pain in my left heel since Monday afternoon. It feels like a deep bruise towards the back, with additional pain between my inner ankle bone and the upper edge of the heel pad. If I press on it there's a really sore spot in that area. I'm not aware of having injured myself at any point. It's definitely not worse when I first start moving - if anything, it gets worse after I've been on my feet for a while. Rest helps but then I'm more aware of it aching. I'm walking on my toes most of the time (so now of course my calf muscle is sore).
I've been in and out of the GP multiple times over the past couple of weeks for myself and the DC. I don't really want to have to go back for something new if I can avoid it. Does it sound like something that's likely to go away on its own? Should I have it seen?
