Very worried about forthcoming scan result

I had an ultrasound scan 6 weeks ago as I have pain in my right side under ribs. I received the results this week & they said they want to scan me again in January. The scan showed something measuring 7mm on my kidney & 6mm on my liver. The Dr did mention something about a clump of vessels & the word benign but I am so worried it's something more sinister. Why another scan if it's not? I have decided to go private so will have my scan on Tuesday by a consultant radiographer. Not sure if she will be able to tell me everything there & then or.....? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
