I've just had appendicitis _ I'm pregnant (was 21 wks at the time)
Started off as pretty horrific mid abdo pain (top of my bump) at 2am ish, I thought trapped wind/indigestion, by 7am it was gripping my right hand side
By 8 pm I was minus one appendix
if your pain moves or increases do ring out of hrs GP for advice or NHS direct.
Hope you're ok xx

wouldn't you know I've had an ectopic as well
pain would normally be on sided severe and increasing.

i went off the pill last week. have had some pregnancy like symptoms (feeling sick a lot mostly), but ignored them as i have been on the pill. i do have signs of ovulating now. i get ovulation pains, but nothing like this.

have you done a test> is there a chance you have missed a pill or had antibiotics that interfered with it or had vomiting/ diaorrhea??

ok...you should get this checked

bloody discharge and sharp pain on one side can be signs of an ectopic.....

could this be a period???

am contradicting myself. !

because i messed up taking the pill i had bleeding for about 2 weeks and then had a proper period at the end of the pack (during the 7 day break). then didn't take the pill anymore. so i doubt it's another period.

i've been looking up ectopic. i suppose it could be but i wouldn't expect the pain to get less.

Could be gall bladder, I've got a gall stone and nausea is a symptom, I don't know the symptoms of an ectopic, but if your pain is severe, sudden onset etc, I REALLY recommend you get medical advice. Good luck.

Do you think it might have been an ovarian cyst that has ruptured?

Yes, please go and see your gp asap, don't let them put you off, even if you take an emergency appointment, tell them you have sudden onset pain of unknown origin and you really want to be seen today! OK?!
