I possibly have ASD and not sure if this is related to it or stress/anxiety or something physical I should worry about. I am going to my gp next week.
Under certain circumstances I get some weird symptoms, usually if I've been talking to someone for too long, or things have calmed down after I've been dealing with ds (ASD) having a meltdown.
My eyes feel achy and tired.
My ears feel like they're blocked.
Across my shoulders feels heavy and slightly achy.
Chest can feel tight.
I feel like I can't breathe in properly.
Rarely have palpitations, but only briefly.
Generally feel exhausted.
If I'm busy and properly distracted, this immediately goes away. If I'm not I find I need some time completely alone and silent and gradually feel better.
Because it goes away when I'm distracted is leading me to believe this is an anxiety thing.
Up to the holidays I was low carbing which seemed to limit this.
Holidays = difficult situations with the dc, I'm not coping well with it and I'm eating like a pig, and possibly this is all contributing.
Or does it sound like something physical? I have read about adrenal fatigue, which does seem to have a lot of familiar symptoms, but I don't think my gp would take me seriously.
I'm also not sleeping enough at the moment, finding it difficult to get to sleep, then wake through the night.
Does any of this ring bells for anyone?
Thank you.

Can anyone help me work out what's going on? (Possibly long and dull, sorry!)
