I have a small lump on my tummy about 2cm diameter which doc thinks is a cyst. He is talking about referring me to a specialist to have it removed. Does anyone have any experience of this. I assume it would be done as an outpatient and pretty much be able to continue with normal life with no recovery period required. I think it's infected at the moment and is v red and itchy so has recommended having it removed to be sure it's nothing to worry about.
