I would love an outside opinion as DH is feeling increasingly worried and at times so am I about strange bowel things but our GP has been very reassuring and relaxed over months and is up to date on all this.
He felt ok to wait and see if it continued when I first saw him which seemed fine but when it did booked a colorectal clinic to investigate but this has taken 4 months or so as first one was cancelled without warning to either of us: he was reassuring again saying he was comfortable with that and that in mid thirties it's unlikely there's a problem.
I've told him in embarrassing detail about
Occasional rectal bleeding and mucous over a year
Diarrhoea / v thin poos/ lots of abdominal pain when bad
Increasingly frequent feeling of sickness and losing appetite
Very tender stomach all over when this is going on eg tonight.
I'm being seen within 2 weeks as near the end of my wait now so this is pointless but feel so uncomfortable, cold and shivery tonight, pooed about 15 times when normally every day or two or three and it's the second time in a fortnight . And above all is the tiredness, overwhelming and I'm normally asleep v early eg 9 and up at 8.20 but wake exhausted.
I'm sure I'm being irrational but just because I look very healthy and have children I feel any abnormal tiredness is dismissed ( I find even standing up an effort).
Sorry for pouring this out and under a temporary name!
