Plantar Fasciitis, Giving Up Work?

This sounds really trivial, but it's making me cry. I only work a couple of hours a day, but I have to walk for 20 minutes to get there, and the same back, then I am on my feet the whole time I am at work. I have heel supports and good shoes, but by the time I walk hobble home, I am in so much pain it makes me want to cry. The pain will last into the evening and is making me feel useless at home too.

It's getting to the stage where I think I will have to give up work, but PF seems quite a common condition, and not everyone with it gives up. Feel such a wimp at the moment Sad

Are you taking any painkillers?

Have you seen a doctor?

I guess you have seen a doctor because you have heel supports, and, well, because you're in agony!

Has the GP discussed the possibility of a steroid injection?

Please don't give your job up because of PF. I had this for months and months and in the end it got better and went away all by itself
