Me and the OH were discussing this the other evening, not over dinner I assure you!

Basically he was saying, due to him being a male (haha) he couldn't do both simulationsly, more proof men cant multitask, however on the other hand, I do.

Is it just me? what about you?

yes, that's how it works. you sit down for a poo and you wee, too.

I don't think they do generally come out simultaneously, I think it's wee first.

I remember watching that series Castaways when a group of people went to Taransay for a year.

On the island, the composting toilets were strictly for weeing in one and pooing in the next one. I always wondered how they did that - glad it's not just me then!

Me yes, Dh yes Ds just poos no wee. But he is potty training so maybe it'll come.


Also dh sits down for wees so maybe that makes a difference.

dh says that it is impossible for anyone to poo without having a wee as well.

I'm not sure if he means actually at the same time, or just at the same session, but either way he is wrong.

he maintains this is a Man Thing, though - apparently it is not possible to have a poo without having a wee if you possess a penis.

I always assumed you couldn't physically wee and poo at the same time unless you had the runs! My theory was, you wouldn't want to wet yourself while giving birth and doing a poo uses the same muscles as giving birth.
Never weed myself giving birth although may have shat myself once or twice

Not in my case, no. If I'm desperate for both, the poo usually wins - that comes first, then the wee after. If I'm not desperate to poo, then usually wee first.

I've heard that too OP about men not being able to do both at the same time. Don't ask me where I got this nugget of information (I didn't stand outside a public loo with a clipboard) but it kind of rang true when you said it. In answer to your original question, yes, in definitely have to have a nice wee when I do a number 2
