Mildly embarrassing - am sweating a lot when AF arrives - is it because I am...ahem...mature?

I am 41 and I'm really noticing this now during AF each month.

Can anyone advise?

i'm 35 and this has started happening.

i keep hoping it's the menopause or perimenopause, but NONE of the women on either side of my family menopaused until well into their 50s, so i'm not overly hopeful.

42 and getting the same, but not just during AF - although I do seem to get extra warm at that time recently! Has anything else changed? Mine are starting to be every 25 days and more fierce!

AF is shorter, but much heavier and I feel completely washed out with it, really horrid.

Ah, mine is also shorter - three days - used to be about six. It all started changing about six months ago. Was hoping it would wait a few years! Maybe it's just perimenopause - whoever he is?

lol - I don't really understand what perimenopause is, and thought it would be later than this, say mid 40's?

Think perimenopause can often start 35-45. From someone who never used to sweat (just gently glow ) i have now reached the grand age of 46 and get really hot and bothered during the night (and that has nothing to do with dh!)Still having regular periods - saying that the last one was 21 days so perhaps it's all downhill from now on

I'm definitely getting warmer around that time than I used to.

Bugger - was hoping to breeze along to menopause without noticing anything !
