I was trying to get a piece of fluff off her dummy(i was stood behind) whist on route to cleaning dd1's dirty hand prints off the window and i accidentally squeezed the trigger and i think some went in her eye as the nozzle wasn't closed.ive rinsed her eye with cold water ,what else should i do?is there anything else i can do/is there a website i can look on for toxic type rating etc?Im not sure if it went in her eye but there was some on her forehead ,she did cry but was anyway hence the dummy.Help someone

Call NHS Direct and tell them the ingredients from the label.

Hope everything's OK.

They said it is highly toxic to the eye and can burn it,so we are off to the hospital just to be safe.
Dp will have to come out of work to take us as i cant drive.

My son squirted detox spray right in his faceHe was covered and dripping.
I soaked his eyes in the sink then rang nhs direct who said go to A and E.It was all red and blotchy but went down by the time a doc saw him.
They checked the ph of his eye and examined it etc but luckily I'd rinsed it enough so they didn't need to do anything else.
Go to A and E if you are worried . Hope Ok.

Thanks all
Just got back ,luckily there wasn't much of a wait.
As you said princessmel they checked the ph of her eye(completely normal) and gave us some antibiotic cream to put on 4 times a day just to clean it.
I wasn't sure if any had gone in her eye but the nurse said it is always best to be careful with the eyes and not leave it to chance.
dd was so good we didn't hear a mumur from her,of course she will be now spoilt more than normal out of guilt

Are you ok pfnm, it gives you such a horrible fright to have something like this happen, doesn't it?

So glad her eye is ok.
