I am 33 with DC aged 3.5 year old and 1 year old. I work full time. No known medical issues.
I have noticed in the past 18 months/2 years that I am having worsening problems with my memory and particularly with speech. In almost every conversation I just cannot think of the words I want to say. Alternatively I stutter...I can think of the word but my mouth won't say it. I have to stutter or say the wrong word then literally spit of the word forcefully to make my mouth say it. It is really upsetting me and causing trouble at work as i'm just going blank in meetings as I can't think the word to say or can't spit it out if someone asks me a question.
At the same time my memory is failing. I can't remember the weight of my youngest son at birth for example (I need to look it up in his baby book). I can't remember simple things any more. I am highly educated with a high powered job and have always been 'clever' and organised and this is really worrying me.
I'm also having dizzy spells....it feel like for a second my eyes vibrate and things go black, my head feels fuzzy and I almost fall over. After 1 or 2 seconds it passes.
I guess I'm asking if this is normal for someone in their early 30s with a young family and a full time job? I don't want to go to the GP if he will just laugh at me. But it is affecting my work so don't know what to do. Does anyone have any experience of this or advice please?
