So what's wrong with me today?

Last night I had a high temperature and the rigors out of the blue as I had been fine all day. Today my foot and ankle and my knee, to an extent, hurt. It's my ankle that I broke badly 20 years ago and is usually susceptible to cold and damp only it hurts more than usual. No temperature today although I feel a bit under the weather.
I generally avoid doctors like the plague, do I need to go do you think or will the nurofen sort whatever's wrong out?

Neurogenic May mask the pain but won't cure anything. Personally I'd give it till tomorrow to see how things settle down.
