I was treated for strep throat a few weeks back after my son ( school age ) caught it and I had a sore throat and a rash on the arm which to be fair had come and gone over a week but I hadn't thought much of it.
Doc didn't swab me just have me a weeks worth of penicillin and I had sheen on pencillin for the week before too due to a tooth infection.
I had the infected wisdom tooth taken out last Monday ( antibiotics finished Sunday ) and I feel horrendously unwell.
The tooth wasn't an easy one to get out and has a dry socket which I'm now on metro for but today literally everywhere hurts and I'm worries about reumatic fever.
Monday morning my son had an appt at the docs and before we went I noticed a line on jy thigh, red with a rash around it, my chest was also covered in red blotches, some pinpoint marks and some bigger.
Panicked but was on way to doc anyway who said if was probably viral / stress and wasn't alarmed.
Am I over thinking it and panicking over nothing?
Haven't had a temperature since the day I had the sore throat which was gone the next day an guessing all the headache / unwell feeling could be due to the tooth but concerned as my original rash did look like 3 circles more than a bright red rash all over like my son had.
It's still there faintly now and feels rough to the touch.
It isn't just my joints aching, my neck back thighs everywhere :(
