Had an episode of severe abdominal pain this afternoon. It came on fairly quickly - about 10 mins. And lasted about 50 mins in total. It was in the area above my belly button and below my boobs and was constant.
I was in agony and couldn't get comfy at all. Ended up on my knees, rocking and deep breathing. Dp thought I was going to give birth again!
I felt bloated at first and had just drank some fizzy water, so thought it was wind.
Eventually the pain just very quickly subsided and I've been fine since, but I haven't eaten anything - I'm too scared to.
I had eaten a small portion of chips and a cornetto about an hour before, and I'm now wondering if it was biliary colic.
If it was, would I be ok to have a slice of dry granary toast with some baked beans?
Can't decide if I should see GP or not. If it happens again I will, but I hope I never feel that pain again.
