get the sandals out again - fresh air v good for it!
better than getting all sweaty in socks

so long as they don't look too offensive...

I have a bunion on one foot. It's not that noticeable unless you really look, it's a lump on my big toe, but it really restricts the kind of shoe I can wear. Even in DMs it can be painful! And I'm only young(ish), it's all set to get worse as I get older!

MrsBadgerAvecUneVoiture Tue 30-May-06 09:54:37

try running backwards saying special antifungal incantations

nailpolish Tue 30-May-06 09:56:58

NOT looking forward to forking out for the prescription

3 x £6 and the rest

daylight robbery

Saggarmakersbottomknocker Tue 30-May-06 09:58:27

Ok - I have bunions on both feet, a blister on top of one of the bunions (not sure how I managed that), a verruca on one foot and a cluster of them about the size of a 10p piece on the other.

I've painted my nails a nice shade of pink but it's doing nothing to detract from the rest of the horror story.

I need help!

nailpolish Tue 30-May-06 09:59:25

saggar, apparently that bazuka gel is good

Rhubarb Tue 30-May-06 10:00:31

How do you cope with yours then Saggar?

BudaBabe Tue 30-May-06 10:05:29

I had a lovely pedicure yesterday - reckon I must have lost at least 2 lbs with the amout of hard skin she took off! Now sporting lovely dark red toe-nails.

And I bought Cod's Flexitol cream in Boots when back in UK last weekend so no excuses for keeping up the maintenance!

At least my feet will look nice when I have my smear test this afternoon!!!!

LadySherlockofLGJ Tue 30-May-06 10:09:49

You were where last weekend ??

Oh fine suit yourself.............

MY Dsis and her tribe were here so it would have been academic.

LadyCodofCOdford Tue 30-May-06 10:19:44

LadyCodofCOdford Tue 30-May-06 10:20:07

"have ever seen"
god

LadyCodofCOdford Tue 30-May-06 10:21:19

PROper pedicures are so liberating
our feet feel fab
i had a tiny unnoticable lump/? wart on my sedon finger
after baxxokaing it it loooks like a battle scar

nailpolish Tue 30-May-06 10:31:12

i am so grateful she told me though and acted on it

would a male doctor have done the same? or would he just have thought "oh my god her feet are mingin'"

a female understands these things

BudaBabe Tue 30-May-06 10:37:22

Sorry LGJ! But was ooop North in Chester!

At DH's step-mum's mum's 100th birthday. Was a bit afraid the excitement would kill her but apparently not! Thank God. Was a bit of a dodgy moment at one point during the whole LONG family photo session but thankfully she had just fallen asleep!

MIL's sis & family came from LA and couldn't understand why I would prefer to go shopping rather than go to Llandudno in the rain. Even DH wanted to go shopping!

LadySherlockofLGJ Tue 30-May-06 10:40:51

You are forgiven.........

Shopping V's Llandudno in the rain, no competition, but I would have brought my brolly.

'kin hate shopping.

BudaBabe Tue 30-May-06 10:44:50

It was quite nice! No rows. No "face" on DH when I just nipped into a shoe shop and ended up trying on 3 pairs and buying the first pair.

But it was mostly shopping for him and DS.

But buying sandals did make me realise how bad my feet were and reminded me I needed to go to Boots for Flexitol!
