Hello. For a while now, when I get up in the morning I limp because one of my ankles is stiff/hurts. This lasts probably less than a minute and then it's fine. I also sometimes get pain/tenderness on the top of the same foot. It's not swollen or red.
It may be relevant that about a year and a half ago I sprained that ankle really badly - it took months to recover and for the swelling to go down.
Does this sound like arthritis (I'm only 43 
) or something else going on?
