odd stomach bloating - any ideas?

I've been experiencing odd stomach bloating since Friday and I've no idea what's causing it but I have a big event this weekend and I really need to be on top form for it so I'm looking for any ideas of what can help here.

Bit of background.....
I've been ill with a cold for over a week - different symptoms each day, constant headache, sore throat, tooth ache etc etc.
On Friday I was running late for something so at lunchtime I stuffed a sandwich down my neck - was exhausted, finding it hard to breath whilst eating and afterwards I got all bloated out. Saturday it was so bad I took some Senakot tablets to try and flush my system out.

My cold has cleared up and I am feeling nearly back to 100% but now every time I eat something my belly bloats out so I look pregnant. I've tried switching foods and nothing seems to work. It's not PMT as I have the injection so I'm a no period zone.

Any ideas what it could be and how I can stop it?

I had been doing the 5/2 fasting diet for the last 4 weeks but I haven't had a fast day for a week now because I need to eat more for the big event this weekend - do you think that could be causing it?

Any thoughts would be really helpful!

Looking pregnant is the main symptom of Ovarian Cancer, but it does not happen only after eating, it is permanently swollen.

Seems like a digestive problem to me. I would see GP if it continues.

digerd it's not permanently swollen - only at certain times - usally after eating.

If it has started only in the last week when you are not doing the diet, it could be that.

Sorry but I don't believe fasting is healthy. I certainly could not do it without feeling faint/fainting and having other horrible side effects.

But that is me. Definitely see GP. Good luck.

Have you considered taking a probiotic? I find they really help my digestive system.

it could be candida - and/or a food intolerance - keep a diary to try and highlight any triggers
candida creeps in when you are run down - google candida and see if any of your symptoms match
