and so we are spending a lovely Sunday night waiting for the Moviprep to work, in the full knowledge that he will be doing it all over again in the morning. Lovely.

Just hope they don't find anything nasty!

Just to wish your dh good luck! It'll be fine. I've had it done 3 times or so now and it's been fine. Don't remember a thing!! Smile

thanks drcrab. I suppose I am just a bit worried in case they do find anything. He has had the runs every morning since July and his dad died of Bowel cancer aged 56. DH is 46.

DH had his because of diahorrea. It's everytime he eats.
I was talking to my woo-lady Grin and she recommended a probiotic, she said sometimes if you don't have enough good flora in your stomach it can cause it. When he had his barium meal it flew through him so I'm thinking it might be a stomach, rather than bowel, problem.

Hugs. Hope it all went okay. They are nasty - my DH has to have one every 3 years as his Dad had colon cancer that they have since worked out is genetic. All good so far. x

Hope it went ok, DH got another letter today. It looks like the camera is going down the way now. He's not impressed.

thanks coco and Tad. It was all fine. He was back home by about 6 and the only diagnosis was slight diverticulitis. He is very relieved, although I think it will be a regular thing due to his family history.

DH said that it was miles better than the down your throat job he had before, so sorry you DH has that next coco

That's good news Smile.

I have to admit I would hate the one down the throat too.

Sorry to just jump in here but has your DH's doctor suggested Genetic testing?
I ask because my DP has to have a colonoscopy every 2-3 years ( Fil has/had Bowel cancer) and we are just waiting to hear about when he has to go for these tests to see if he has the cancer gene.

no mention has been made of genetic testing but I will get DH to ask his doctor next time he goes.
