I thought dd was trying it on this morning, she had a bit of a sore throat but no temperature etc. I thought she was worried about a little girl at school who has been bulling or heavy handed with her. When I said I'd put a note in for her teacher to keep an eye on her, she was happy and skipped off to school. School nurse has just phoned and she has a temperature of 39.4 and a really sore throat. Shoot me now! Blush

oh I've done that before - took DS1 off to one of his induction days for school last year - he wasn't his 'usual' self but I thought he was just getting cold feet about going to 'big school' - which would have been unusual for him but 4yr olds can be unpredictable

. Whisked him off next door and stayed in the hall with him, and he didn't really join in much and was really quiet (as it was the first one parents were asked to stay if possible). He went outside to play - less than 1 minute later one of the TA's brought him back - he'd just thrown up Blush

lucy I've done that too... taking dd to nursery feeling a little bit off. Thought she was just putting it on as she is Miss Drama Queen and sometimes just can't be bothered to go. Lone behold she developed a temp of close to 40.

So you're not alone, and you're not a bad mother either :) If my kids are anything to go by they're temperature changes more quickly than I can say 'where's the thermometer!' Smile
