Orthodontist - second opinion/information

Not happy with the direction that DS's orthodontic treatment might be taking. I know that I can get a second opinion but not sure what can be done now that he is half way through the treatment. Was not advised at the beginning of the treatment that the ortho might recommend extracting teeth or moving the bottom jaw forward which will change the shape of his mouth.

I've tried looking online for information but haven't had any luck. Any suggestions for websites that might have relevant information about treating overbite/overjet.

I'm about to get on the phone and book an appointment for that second opinion.

No advice, but I am in exactly the same boat as you. Orthodontist has however referred us to hospital for second opinion. I am still shocked by it all tho as for the last 2 years it has been a case of watching and monitoring with the expectation fixed braces to be applied.
