Slim fast diet???

I've put on a fair bit of weight after having my baby so I've looked up some diets, one that seems fairly cheap to buy products from is Slim Fast. Has anyone ever been on the Slim fast diet?? If so how did people get on with it??

I have a couple of times. I lost weight initially but then after a week it plateaued and I didn't lose anymore.

Lost loads with the Cambridge Diet though. Hugely more expensive but far superior to Slim Fast.

Hi i have to say that before my holiday in July i started the Slimfast diet, i was almost 10 stone 12lbs and i am although a size 12 only 5ft 4. I stuck to the diet but had normal breakfast -cereal or toast, then shake for lunch and a normal but balanced evening meal. I have to say that i stopped all snacks -crisps,choc or any other treats for the time i was doing the diet of 6 wks. I have also trained to. I have a treadmill at home and i ran two-three times a wk or i would go for a run. ( i have done running for about 5 yrs) so this helped too. I have never lost so much weight to be honest. I dropped down to 10 stone 3 lbs. I was stunned with weight losses of about a pound a day or so. Yes sometimes the weight would fall but sometimes it stayed. I was very disciplined tho. Now i have been on hols, finished the diet but still have one for lunch and i am now 10 stone 8 lbs again but still better than before - this time i have my treats back tho. Its a good diet but you must stick to it. The Banana flavour is the best one, Choc made me a bit gurgly but other than that i cant fault it.good luck

Hmmm - yes you can lose weight with Slimfast, but as for keeping it off long term without having re-educated your eating habits...........

Drinking calorie controlled milkshakes does not good eating habits make.
