Hand foot & mouth disease

My 19 month old son has recently had hf&m disease. While he has now recovered and back to his normal self the skin around his finger and toe nails is peeling. Anyone had a similar experience? Its not painful for him although if it gets anyworse I will take him to see Gp on monday. Any advice welcome.

yes, this often happens especially if the rash was severe...and is not a problem...my 1st daughter looked like she was a snake taking off her skin after her dose!
