Sore throat with acid reflux.

I have been diagnosed with acid reflux - the only symptom I get is a very sore throat as the acid has affected my vocal chord. I am on omeprazole and take gaviscon regularly but still struggling.

I have tried looking at web pages for ideas of foods I should avoid but already drink minimal alchohol, try to eat before 6pm and eat healthy food.

Does anyone have any wise words of help for me? Getting really fed up with it

tiger I also suffer and have horrendoussore throats. I found that spicy food also triggers it. Another biggy is caffeine so if you can include herbal teas, fennel and camomile are amazing at dampening the effect
