Repeated blood blisters on roof of mouth - should I be concerned?

For quite a while now, I've been getting blood blisters on the roof of my mouth every couple of weeks or so. I have no idea what's causing it (maybe eating "scratchy" food??) and I have it right now - well it happened out of the blue, as always, a couple of days ago, one big blister and several smaller ones. It's not happening in the same place every time and they pop[vile] and are gone again after a couple of days. I tried to make an appointment to see the GP today but failed, I wanted to go when the evidence was there IYKWIM - don't think I would've bothered at all but DH told me that one of our dds has been telling him how worried she is. Does anyone have any clue why this is happening to me? I know it's all a bit random

The blisters could be caused all sorts of different things, and the possibilities increase because they a recurrent. it could be something or nothing.

I think you need to get to your GP - don't procrastinate.

it sounds like something which has a big fancy name which i cant remember at mo, just remember a patient with similar symptoms coming to work and the docs telling him. it was harmless!! you can never be too careful though so go to your doctor or dentist and get it checked out, good luck x

Just wondering if you ever found out what was causing the blood blisters? I have been suffering from them lately and didn't know whether it warranted a trip to the doctors?

How big are they? Dentist would be a better bet as we look at mouths all day every day so are well placed to say what is normal or not.

Trying to be delicate, ahem, sometimes a specific form of suction that may or may not occur in the bedroom when engaged in particular activities can cause a form of "lovebite" on the roof of the mouth.

Haha! Not from bedroom activities!!
I just seem to get them every so often, sometimes after eating, but some times they are just suddenly there... Not that big but not tiny, maybe diameter of a pea?!? Also I can normally burst them with my tongue although not always... Def filled with blood... (yuk)

I've just recently seen a blood blister in top of my roof of mouth 👄 been to emergency doctors confirmed it was has i suffer with anxiety.. Anyway I can ease the soreness on roof of mouth 👄
