Weird Feeling In My Leg

Before anyone says to do so, I already have an appointment to see my GP this week.

Anyway, I have several chronic pain conditions, including Fibromyalgia, arthritis and early degenerative disease. Most of this centres on the left side of my body, specifically my left leg.

The past few days I have a weird almost vibrating feeling in my left thigh. When I had my mobile in my jeans pocket I thought it was ringing because that's what this feels like, like a mobile vibrating when it rings!

Obviously I will discuss with my GP but was just wondering if anyone had anything similar and what it turned out to be. The last thing I need is another joint/muscle issue!!

Sounds like a trapped nerve or muscle fasciculations.

I get these!

I used to get vibrations in my thigh on and off for a long time. Was very weird but not painful at all. After having the dc I developed varicose veins in this spot and I think the vibrations were the start of them for me.

Hope you get some helpful advice from your GP.

Thanks to both of you. It seems better today and of course my GP appointment is tomorrow!

I have Fibromyalgia and get these too, although to be honest, mine are more often in my arms.

Thanks Saltire. Saw GP this morning and she does think it is fibro related. I'm waiting for my ortho referral to happen and then it's MRI time!
