I went to the dentist yesterday and was prepped for a crown being fitted in 2 weeks. No prob. As often happens I had two dry sore(ish) spots just inside the corners of my mouth afterwards. I put Aloe Vera Vaseline on them this morning.
I now have two blisters at the corners, and just inside the corners, of my mouth.
I also put the vaseline on my lips, which are fine. I use AV vaseline often, with no bad effect until now.
Have you any idea why this has happened?
Could it be the result of a malignant chemical reaction - something from the dentist and something in the vaseline; or would these blisters have come up anyway (not happened to me before, but hey).
It's just odd that they were just dry spots until less than 15mins after putting the vaseline on.
Also, as I'm due to go back in two weeks, what can I put on these blisters that won't (or is less likely to) react with whatever it is - if it is a reaction - to get rid of them quickly.
Thank you.
PS They're bloody annoying too!
