Geeky stuff

It's easy right? Plug your phone into laptop and upload contacts to desktop?

Can't do it! There must be an obvious, easy way to do it, surely! I've got a new phone see, and I can't be arsed to sit here for an hour, typing in all my contacts!

Anyone shed any light?

Thanks!

I usually do it via bluetooth. I can help with Nokia:
basically you need software on the pc, which in this is called Nokia PC Suite (i think the disc came with the cable, but i'm sure this kind of stuff must available online). Then you go through a set-up process to show what you want to sync with the computer, which would be contacts (presumably in outlook or equivalent).

You need to be aware of what direction you are syncing in.... but the software should give the options. Then it should just be a case of connecting the phone and syncing.

hope that makes sense!
